The Challenge
A high-volume diagnostic centre in Sylhet needed to replace fragmented paper and spreadsheet operations with a unified Hospital and Diagnostic Centre Management System capable of handling rapid patient registration, multi-test invoicing, laboratory pathology workflows, and daily financial auditing without bottlenecks.
System Architecture
Engineered from the ground up on Laravel 13 and PHP 8.3 with a normalized MySQL relational schema. Built a modular pathology reporting engine featuring 135 pre-configured diagnostic report templates, margin-calibrated A4 letterhead printing, role-based access control for receptionists and lab technologists, and automated end-of-day cash reconciliation.
Production Impact
Deployed in active clinical production at FairMedical in Sylhet. Eliminated billing calculation errors, accelerated pathology report turnaround with standardized templates, and gave management real-time visibility into daily revenue, referrer commissions, and test volumes.
